Panic! at the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band primarily based out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is created from Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his childhood buddy, Spencer Smiths (drums), such as their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals).
To advertise their music, the band made contact with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) using his LiveJournal webpage. Impressed kpop trends by means of the band, Wentz for my part met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band released their debut album, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which would debut at #112 at the Billboard two hundred album charts.
Featured in Spin mag as their band of the day in early October 2005, reaching #1 on the MySpace chart, and continually staying in PureVolumes Top 10 chart, would only guide develop the bands fame. An visual appeal on MTVs TRL on January 17, 2006, on the most well known in their track video for I Write Sins Not Tragedies, also helped garner the band an awful lot publicity.
To date, the bands 2005 debut album, A Fever you Cant Sweat Out has offered over 750,000 contraptions. The band is lately headlining a North American summer travel with The Dresden Dolls and The Hush Sound, a band also signed to Decaydance.
